…the projects themselves, since the process opens up a wide choice of options to me. For example, unforeseen errors or mishaps may occur, but they make me see things differently and inspire me to take a new approach.

I first made contact with Vlieseline…

…through my father, who worked in nonwovens for many years, initially in Kaiserslautern, then in Weinheim and Italy. So I basically grew up with it all.

What I really like about Vlieseline…

…the easy handling of the fabrics. You can work precisely and neatly, so beginners in particular will enjoy sewing and want to carry on doing it.

My very special Vlieseline product is…

…Hot Spots, because they combine textile work and drawing. I also like water-soluble embroidery backings. You can use a wide variety of most unusual fabrics to create your own personal outer fabric and embroidery, which you can use to enhance textiles and a lot of other things as well.

For me, the perfect trade show...

…it's difficult to say. Every trade show is special in its own way, because you meet a lot of different people and find a wide variety of products at all of them. So each trade show has its own flair, which is always exciting and gives you new impressions.
